MASTERTON DANCE
A most enjoyable dance was given last Thursday at the Exchange Hall, Alasterton, and the committee have been receiving many congratulations upon their success. The members of tho committee were Aliss Gladys Alurray, Miss Aloore, Aliss AlcKeuzio, Aliss K. Holloway, Aliss E. Dalrymple, and Miss G. Dalrymple. The hall was most artistically decorated with delicatelyshaded draperies and light shades to match, and quantities of spring bulbs which grow so profusely in the AA’airarapa. The supper tables looked exceedingly pretty with crystal vases of hyacinths and bulbs. Some of the chaperons were: Mrs Alurray, who wore black satin and lace overdress ; Mrs McKenzie, black velvet and lace; Mrs Archer, white satin and lace; Miss E. Dalrymple, mauve satin; Aliss G. Dalrymple, floral ninon dress over white charmeuse; Aliss Alurray, pale primrose satin; Aliss D. Moore, white ninon over satin; Aliss G. AlcKenzie, pale blue satin and ninon; Aliss D. Jones (AVellington), brown ninon over blue satin; Miss I. Daniell, white satin and lace; Miss Alorgan, white satin and ninon; Aliss AV. Moore, ivory net over satin.
The open night in connection with the AVomen’s Social and Political League will be held to-night at the Boulcott street hall. Dancing, recitations, and other attractions will help to make the gathering most pleasant.
