The Willochra, due at Wellington this morning from Melbourne and Hobart via southern porta, will berth at No. 1. north (outer tee). Queen’s wharf. The vessel will sail at 5 p.m. to-day for Sydney direct. T!io Kaipara, on route from New Zealand to London, arrived at Teneriffe at midnight on Saturday, and (sailed at 3 p.m. on Sunday in continuation of her voyage. The Kairaki, which arrived at Wellington last evening from Lyttelton, is to lea ye here at noon to-day tor Greymouth. For the convenience of visitors to the Wellington races, the departure of the Nikau from this port for Nelson and Motueka to-morrow has been postponed till 7 o’clock to-morrow evening. The cargo steamer Hercules, which arrived at Bluff on Wednesday from Bunbury, will discharge at southern ports and Wellington. Afterwards the vessel will go back to Banbury to load for Auckland. The Clan Maclnncs is leadins jarrnh at Bunbury for Auckland and other Dominion ports. The Union Company’s new cargo boat Kamo, now on route from the Clyde tp New Zealand, will load at Bunbury for Auckland and southern ports. Messrs W. Cable and Co. have received an order to make a new tail shaft and four-bladed propeller for the Aorere. to replace the one she lost at eea last Friday. Bound from New Zealand to West of Hngland ports, the Norfolk left St. Vincent on the 7th instant.

Extensive alterations to the ladder and dredging well of Dredge 222 at Dunedin will shortly be carried out to enable the vessel to dredge to a depth of about 32 feet.

The Hinemoa was landing stores at the Capo Maria lighthouse yesterday, and sailed in the afternoon for Hokianga. She is due hero about to-morrow week.

Mr Dawe, purser of the Uli'maroa. who is on holiday, will.rejoin that vessel at Melbourne. _ Mr E. Neale, late of the Winmera, is acting purser of the Ulimaroa.

The twin-screw motor launch Muritax, of Lyttelton, has been purchased by an Auckland syndicate who intend to use her for. running as a tender to the Union Company and Huddart Parker boats calling at Tokomaru Bay. She will leave Lyttelton in a day or two under her own power for Auckland. The Pukaki, which was recommissioned at Wellington yesterday, sailed in the evening for Westport. Mr D. O’Hara.’ late of the Terawhiti, joined the vessel as second officer, and Mr J. Duder. late of the Turawora. signed on as third officer.

After a moderate to fine weather passage from Sydney the Tahiti arrived in the stream at Wellington abont ij o’clock yesterday morning from San Tranberthed at the Glasgow wharf at 10.15 a.m. She is,To sail at 5 p.m. to-day for San Francisco via Rarotonga' and Papeete. IJalgety and Co. advise that the Mangapapa, which arrived at Wellington yes-i terday morning from Karamea, is to leave here to-day at 2 p.m. for Westport, .Little Wanganui and Karamea. MOAN A FROM ’FRISCO. The Cation Company’s liner Moana ar-, rived in the stream at Wellington at 10 o’clock yesterday morning from San. Tram cisco via ports, and berthed about noon at No. 11. Jervois quay. The Moana left the Californian port at 11 a.m. on June 25th. and arrived at Papeete at 1 p.ip. on Sunday, July 6th. The following day at 2.15 p.m, departure was taken for Rarotonga, where the steamer lay in Awarua roadstead from 8 a.m. on July 9th till 9.30 a.m. on the 10th inst. Pine weather prevailed on the passage from San Francisco to Papeete, with sunny days and clear skies from Golden Gate to Papeete harbour. Picturesque sunsets were a feature of the trip approaching the island of Tahiti'. On clearing Rarotonga fine weather was experienced till the 13th inst.. when strong winds and heavy head seas retarded the progress of the vessel considerably. Fine weather again set in on the 16th and continued till arrival.

The vessel brought a large cargo—l6oo tons for Wellington, also 250 tons and 2 horses for Sydney. The steamer landed 60 tourists in Papeete to witness the native fete on July 12th.

RIMUTAKA REPORTED. The New Zealand Shipping Company is advised that the Rimutaka arrived at Monte Video at 6 a.ra. last Tuesday from Lyttelton, and sailed again for London.
