MR RUNCTMAN’S SUGGESTION. By Tyriesraph—Press Association—Copyright LONDON. July 13. Mr Walter Rumanian, President of the Board of Agriculture, addressing the Young Liberals’ League, advocated tho State financing the construction of houses on land taken for its agricultural value. He suggested the erection of 90,000 labourers’ cottages throughout tho country, the rent of each to be 3s a week.
