McDonald’s boot factory at Chippendale, with a heavy stock and much valuable machinery has been destroyed by fire. The damage is heavy. Three shops in Grrndagai have been gutted. The Premier and his party, who were visiting the town, rendered valuable assistance in checking the spread of the fire.
