Corey, who owned the Star of England, have another vessel on tho stocks to replace her The Hurunui is to leave Wellington on Thursday for Port Chalmers to load for West of England ports. Caotain Peterson, of tho ketch Lizzie Taylor, at present in port at Wellington, is seriously ill in tho Wellington Hospital.

Tno Kent is to leave Wellington on Thursday for Lyttelton and Dunedin with remainder of cargo. The vessel is to go to Townsviiio for Homeward loading.

Tho little trawler Energy is to go on tho Wellington patent slii) on Thursday for an overhaul. The coastal steamer Kairafci is duo at Wellington on Thursdays and will leave on the same day for Greymouth. The Canterbury Company's steamer Breeze is due at Wellington on Thursday from southern oorts. and will sail on the same day for Wanganui.

The Kamona left Limestone Island on Sunday morning for Wellington, where she is duo this Tne vessel is now timed to leave Wellington at 4 D.m. to-morrow for New Plymouth and West Coast.

The Arahura arrived at Greymouth at 7 a.m. yesterday from Wellington _ via ports, and sailed on the return trip at 5 o’clock last evening. Tho vessel is duo here about 6.30 to-morrow evening. ULIMAROA FROM SYDNEY. The local office of the Huddart-Parker Company has been advised that the Ulimaroa left Sydney at 1 p.ui. on Saturday for Wellington direct. The vessel is bringing SO saloon and 56 steerage passengers for New Zealand ports. According to a wireless message the Ulimaroa will arrive here at 6 o’clock to-morrow morning. Medical inspection will probably occupy nearly two hours, owing to the outbreak of small-pox in Sydney, and probably it will be necessary to revaccinate some of the passengers. AORANGI AT SAN FRANCISCO. At 5 p.ra. last Friday the Aorangi arrived at San Francisco from Sydney and Wellington via ports. The vessel was one dav late. She will sail on the return trip on the 23rd instant, and is due at Wellington on August 11th. RTJAHINE REPORTED. The Now Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Kuahine, en route from Dondon. reports by wireless that she is expected to arrive at Hobart to-morrow. The vessel is expected to return Wellington next Monday. TAHITI LEFT SYDNEY. Bound for San Francisco via ports the Union Company's steamer Tahiti left Sydney at 3 p.m. on Saturday for Wellington. where she is due early on Thursuuj morning. Too voted nos SO through passengers on board and about 60 more will join the boat at Wellington. The Tahiti will sail from this port at 5-p.m. on Friday for Rarotonga, Papeete and San Francisco. MOANA FROM SAN FRANCISCO.

A wireless message received from the Moana. en route from San Francisco, reports that the vessel is expected to arrive at Wellingtons on Thursday morning. Tho vessel has 458 bags of mails to land at Wellington and 1550 tons of cargo, including 057 tons of fruit, _ a quantity of copra and IOO.COOft of timber for New Zealand.
