MARCONI CHARGES
• NEWSPAPER COMMENT. LONDON, June 15. The newspaper “Nation” hopes Ministers will frankly admit their error. The paper urges that it is incumbent that Sir Rufus Isaacs should shoulder the full burden of his error. The “Spectator” (Unionist) calls upon Mr Asquith to clear up the suspicious rumours that minor members of' his Ministry invested in Marconi Company’s shares. " humbugging AND FRAUD.” (Received Jnno 17, 0.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 16. Mr Ramsay MacDonald, in a letter to bis constituents concerning the Marconi report, describes the attacks on Ministers as humbugging and fraud, and says it is now time the matter was closed.
