“ENCOURAGING MURDER”
RESOLUTION AGAINST LENIENCY. SYDNEY, June 16. The Woodfordleigh Farmers’ Union passed a resolution against the leniency of the Government in remitting death sentences, thereby encouraging murder and other serious crimes.
