WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION. MEETING OF COMMITTEE. * ■ The usual fortnightly meeting ofthe management committee of the Wellington Hockey Association was held last night in the rooms of the hon. secretary, Mr A.- A. Bennett. Mr C. N. Cathie in tho chair. The Hutt Valley Hookey Club a third-grade team were awarded a win by default from the Victoria College team on May 10th, at Hutt Park. A communication was received from* the Karori Borough Council* stating that arrangements have been made for a special car to leave Cour-' tenay place every Saturday at 2.10 p.m. for Karori X J ark. Another communication was received' from the Karori Borough Council stating that the council have agreed to convert the present straker shed into four dressing-rooms—one for ladies, and three for the nee of clubs, with extra conveniences, showers and washbasins, otc.—lt ♦is decided to accept the three rooms at a rental of £2 10s' each for the season.—Tho Government Insurance Club and the United CluF have accepted one room each. , A communication was received, from tho hon. secretary of the Wednesday Hockey Association thanking thejissp; tion for entering a team in their recent six-a-sido competition. It is .intended to make it an annual fixture.
