THE INDRABARAH

ANOTHER ATTEMPT TO REFLOAT HER. There are no fresh developments to record concerning the position of the liner Indrabarah on the Rangitikei beach. After coaling at the Taranaki street wharf on Saturday morning, the Union Company’s salvage tug Terawhiti, proceeded to the company’s wharf at Evans Bay, where she shipped two large anchors and a long cable to be used in another attempt to refloat the ’ refractory liner. At 11.20 p.m. on Saturday the Terawhiti departed from Evans Bay for the scene of operations. On Saturday morning Captain Rainey, marine superintendent of the Tyser Line, Mr W. A. Kennedy, local manager of the Union Company, and Mr Buriritt. of the company’s repairs department, left Wellington by motorcar for the Rangitikei beach. Preparations will be made immediately for a big attempt to refloat the Indrabarah on next Friday’s- spring tide.
