MARCONI CONTRACT
CHESTERTON LIBEL TRIAL. (Received June 3, 11-20 p-m.) LONDON, Juno 3. At the Chesterton trial concerning the alleged libel of Mr Godfrey Isaacs in the paper “Eye Witness,” Mr Godfrey Isaacs was sharply cross-examined in reference to his connection with Saint' David's gold mines. The questions were apparently based on the allegations of Mr Lockwood, who was the owner of the patents, Mr Godfrey Isaacs said that when Lockwood was dismissed he pointed a pistol at his ,(Mr Godfrey Isaacs’) head and threatened to shoot him. Mr Godfrey Isaacs denied that ho made a corner in Marconi shares.
