CENTRAL HARRIERS

The Central Harriers ran from the Kelburne Kiosk yesterday, and despite the boisterous weather, there was a fair .muster of runners. No trail was laid on account of the wind. The pack, in charge of T. S. Myers, with E. B. Smith as pacemaker, set off through Kelburne at a good pace, all the new men running well. The course taken was up to the Karori reservoir and'then in the direction! ,of Brooklyn, and circling back towards the starting point. A handicap run-in of half a mile was held, the placed men being D. W. Rutledge first, B. Martin second, and L. Myers third.
