Press Association. AUCKLAND, January 16. The oomfKlSsTon inquiring into the administration of the St. Helens Home heard further evidence to-day in support of Mrs Nicols’s complaints. The commissioner said he intended to call evidence quite apart from tho department to ascertain exactly how the homo was conducted, and all particulars regarding it. The commissioner suggested that evidence should be called as to the most suitable site for a new home. There was no doubt, ho said, as to the necessity for a now building in Auckland.
