The New Zealand and African Steamship Company advise that the departure of the Surrey from Liverpool for New Zealand has been postponed from February Bth to February 22nd. The Banffshire is to follow the Surrey, and will sail on March 15th. The Mapouxika and Regains were taken out to the laid-up row in the stream yesterday. The Whakarua is timed to sail from London on January 28th for Australian and New Zealand porft. The Corinna is due back at Wellington next Tuesday with 18,000 boxes of butter from Onehunga for transhipment to London.

A wireless message reports that the incoming Vancouver liner Zealandia will arrive at Auckland on Saturday morning. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Waimana sailed from London last Friday for Dunedin and Lyttelton, via Australia. The vessel has a large number of immigrants on board for Australia. She is due at Dunedin on February 26th, and at Lyttelton about March 10th. Napier will be one of the ports cf discharge of the U.S. and A, liner Barenfelrf, which was to have left Now York on the 6th instant for Australian and New Zealand ports. Tiie Star of India, which arrived at VVellington yesterday morning from London, via ports, is to sail on Sunday morning for Gisborne. Captain F. C. Ross, who has been on a holiday trip to Tasmania, has resumed command of the Talune.

The Kapiti, due back at Wellington tomorrow from Lyttelton, is to leave here probably for Fuponga on Saturday. A Press Association message from Napier reports that when backing out from the Glasgow wharf on Tuesday night a mooring hawser was caught by the propeller of the llokora, delaying the departure of the steamer for Auckland. Later, a diver was procured, and he released the rope, no damage having been done to the propeller. The steamer got away at 4 a.m. yesterday. The Wimmera, due at Wellington this morning from Dunedin and Lytteltou. has 200 tons of cargo to discharge at this port. Shis will berth at No. 14, Jervoia quay. The vessel is to sail at 4 p.m. to-day for Sydney, via northern ports. The Ewinana is reported to be under orders to take a consignment of cattle from Now Zealand to Western Australia. A Tyser steamer is to load at New York for Australian and New Zealand ports, and is to sail on February X7th. With a load of Paparoa coal from Greymoutn the Waverley is due at Wellington to-morrow. She will sail for Nelson and West Coast on Saturday. The Kent, now discharging Liverpool cargo at Dunedin, is to load under the auspices of the New Zealand Shipping Company for London. She will call at Auckland, Gisborne. Tokomaru Bay, Napier, and Wellington. From this port the vessel will sail for London early m February. Mr Hazard, lately a cadet on the ship Dartford, joined the Manuka as fourth officer yesterday in place of Mr K. Nicholas, who transferred to tho Koonya is third. Mr E. J. Fowler, late chief officer of tho Hanpiri, has transferred to the Koonya as chief in place of Mr C. Frost.

The Government training ship Amotura passed out through the Wellington Heads at 8.20 yesterday morning for an instructional cruise in Cook Strait. Duo at Wellington to-morrow from London, via Auckland, the Orari, after discharge will go to Beauty Feint (Tasmania) with remainder of cargo. She will subsequently load in Now Zealand for Home, and will sail in February. Tho Petone returned to Lyttelton on Monday evening from Pitt Island, after a stormy trip. She left Lyttelton on the 3rd inst. and arrived at Pitt Island at 3 a.m. on tho 6th She was delayed for two days by a heavy north-east gale, and after loading 1750 sheep, sailed at 6 p.m. on Friday last. She experienced a northwest gale and high seas; which lasted till yesterday morning. The Petone will not call at Wellington this week, but is proceeding from Lyttelton to Napier. The auxiliary scow Echo is still detained at Karamea. The Waiwera is to berth this morning at tho King’s wharf tp complete Homeward loading. She will sail on Saturday for London. Tho Mangupapa’s deck bouse and bridge deck are being removed in order to have her engines lifted out for repairs.

The Maoriland Steamship Company advise that the Breeze is due at Wellington on Saturday from Wanganui. The Ennerdale is loading at lluon (Tasmania) for Melbourne, She is to return to lluon from the Victorian port. The Holmdaie arrived at Gisborne at 4 p.m. on Tuesday from Greymouth. Sho will sail to-day for Picton, I'arakoho and Greymouth. The Blackball Company's collier Ngtatoro is due at Wellington to-night from Greymouth, and will probably sail on the return trip to-morrow night. Captain Hammond, formerly chief officer of the Maitai, who lias been assistant marine superintendent for the Union Company in Scotland for the past two years, will probably return to New Zealand with the turbine steamer Wahinc. The Navuia, due at Wellington this afternoon from Fiji, is to sail for Westport this evening, taking passengers for that port. The vessel will be back at Wellington on Sundry. OORINTHXC AT HOBART. The local agents for the Shaw. Savill and Albion Company advise that the Coiinthio (from London ard Plymouth via. Capetown) was signalled at Hobart at noon yesterday. The vessel is expected to continue her voyage to Wellington to-day, and is duo here next Monday. MANUKA PROM SYDNEY. At 10.20 o’clock yesterday morning the Manuka arrived at Wellington trom Sydney direct, and berthed at No. 1, north (outer tee). Queen’s wharf. The vessel left Sydney at X p.m. on Saturday and had fine weather with light winds and smooth seas till arrival. The Manuka is to leave Wellington at 5 p.m. to-day for southern ports, Hobart, and MelHAWKE’S BAY SAILED.
