THE BUKOW MURDER
STBRNICKEL CONFESSES. (Received January 14, 11.45 p.m.) BERLIN, January 14. Stemickel has confessed his identity. The police suggest that the prisoner is the author of several other unsolved crimes. ' A'farmer, his wife, and a servant girl were murdered. The murderer (supposed to be a man named bohoeno) then nailed up the house in order to prevnt the farmer’s two daughters from giving an alarm. T'h daughter's, however, escaped and communicated with the police. Inter the police identified iicfuxsne with a notorious criminal named Stemickel, wanted for a murder in Silesia in 1900, also for a series of daring robberies. One oi his accomplices in the Bukow murder confessed. A mob attacked and badly mauled Sohoene while he was on. his way to gaol. •
