MATCH BETWEEN JOHNSON AND WELLS. LONDON, December 4. The London agents of Johnson, the pugilist, have been authorised to arrange a match with Bombardier Wells. It is understood that Wells is anxious to fight. The match will, probably take place in Paris in Juno, and will De for £7OOO. Johnson states he is getting over his trouble in America all right. BERNARD DEFEATED BY PAPKE. PARIS, December 4. Papke beat Bernard in the seventh round.
