UNATTACHED OFFICERS

The committee and office-bearers of the Unattached Officers' Association met on Tuesday night tor the purpose of drawing up a syuabus of lectures or papers aud ai&cvisaing several- matters oi importance to tne association. It was decided that the first general meeting for the purpose of reading papers will be hold alter the New lear. Territorial officers on the unattached list (b) are those serving with tho Senior Cadets. The objects of tho association are:— To organise and control non-military matters, such as sports meetings and competitions in connection with the Senior Cadets in No. 5 area group. To promote the interchange of ideas and discussion of problems connected with Senior Cadet training, organisation, and discipline. To promote, by holding of classes and reading of papers, the study of subjects pertaining to tho duties of members. To arrange for tho management and ■ maintenance of the orderlyroom and make rules for same. 'To maintain the ©sprit de corps of all officers engaged in training the Senior Cadets.

The officers are President: Officer in charge No. 5 area group (ex officio); vicepresidents: Major Matheson, Captains Greenish and Simeon, Lieutenant Piiani; committee: Captain McFarlane, Lieutenants Brown, Carter, Hugo; hon. eeci: Lieutenant Winder.
