THREE MEN KILLED

ACCIDENT IN BROKEN HILL MINE.

(Received Octovor 31, 1 a.m.)

SYDNEY, October 30. An accident occurred at the Broken Hill mine to-day, by which three men were killed and a fourth injured. The four men were employed at timbering at the 500 ft level when the filling collapsed. Three-of the men, named Heydon, Fraser, and Martin, were •buried, their tbato escaping with his life, though not without injury. Tho work of recovering the bodies—which is dangerous—is proceeding.
