A DRAMATIC INCIDENT

TURKS’ MISTAKE LEADS TO ATTACK ON OWN MEN.

BULGARS PROVIDE THE CLIMAX. (Received October 29, 1.25 a.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE, October 28. The commanders of the other Turkish divisions wore unaware on the night of the sSsnd that the first army corps was to be launched suddenly against General Dimitrieff’e left flank, between Tunja and Kirk Kilisseh. This attack therefore failed, and the Turks streamed, back into other bodies of Turks, who mistook them for Bulgarians and assailed them. The two Turkish sections thus fired on each other, and the Bulgarians fired on both.
