CAUGHT IN THE ACT
Last evening, at 8 o’clock, Constable ‘Whitehouse arrested George Lee, about 70 years of age, on a charge of breaking and entering the residence of Mr Harold Blackburne. Hawker street. Mr and Mrs Blackburne were away at church at the time, and the constable effected the arrest at the rear of the premises. The. sum of £1 15s 9d was missing from the house. Accused had £3 12s Did on him when arrested. Ho will be brought before the court this morning.
