YOUNG MEN IN TROUBLE. FBEB9 ASSOCIATION. PALMERSTON, August A number of young men were fined to-day for non-attendance at Territorial drills. T*. J. Hill, who said he was an invalid under five doctors, but whom the medical authorities passed in, was fined five shillings and seven shillings cos'fi. R. W. Andrew, E. R. Erchhorn. W. Smith, J. P. t.ees. *v. F. J. Boswell, and W. Person were fined ?0s ?-nd 7s costs. William C. Healey was fined 10s and 7s cost#?. Two cases were withdrawn after explanations. NAPIER, August 5. At the Magistrate's Court to-day a ritorial was fined £5. in default ©everyday** imprisonment, for not attending parades or camps.
WANGANUI, August 6, Eight Territorials were charged to-day with not attending camp. Four weiw fined sums varying from 2s 6d to IQs, the charges against four were dismissed.
