It is announced that the National Progressive party must accept Colonel Roosevelt’s political doctrines if he is to be its standard-bearer. Colonel Roosevelt will make a confession of his faith to the delegates attending the Convention which opens at Chicago to-day, before the party’s platform committee makes its final report. He will not accept nomination on a platform he does not approve of.
