THE RUBBER SCANDAL
COMPANY DIRECTORS DENOUNCED FROM THE PULPIT. (Received August 6, 10.35 p.m.) LONDON, August 5. Preaching in Westminster Abbey yesterday the Rev. Canon Hensley Henson denounced the directors of the Peruvian Amazon Rubber Company, whose prospectus was published in “The Times’' on December 7th, 1908, and urged Churchmen to subscribe £15,000 to enable Roman Catholics to establish a mission in Putumayo.
