The Warrimoo will arrive at Wellington on Friday from Melbourne via south, and will tranship cargo and passengers for Sydney to the Maunganui. The Warrimoo will return to Melbourne via southern ports. * Captain A. H. Davey is to resume command of the Kini after his holiday. Captain J. Holmes arrived at Wellington from Lyttelton yesterday for orders. Tli© Kia Ora, which sailed from London on August Ist was three weeks behind hex timetable. She is proceeding direct to Dunedin and is due there about September 19th.

The Aparima was to have left Calcutta on Friday for Singapore; Samarang and New Zealand ports. She is due at Wellington about September 6th. The Ennerdale. which arrived at Lyttelton on Friday evening, brought 300,000fc of timber for that port from Port Huon. Tasmania. The vessel left Port Huon cn Saturday week and had a fine weather passage. She will probably leave Lyttelton to-day for New Plymouth to complete discharge. The 18,000-ton passenger liner Ceramic, which is being built at Belfast for the Whit© Star line's Australian service, will be launched at the close of the present year. She should he ready to sail from England on her maiden voyage to Australian ports by the end of next May.
