LANGFORD WINS.

ON POINTS FROM MCVEA GOOD FIGHT GOES FULL TWENTY ROUNDS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyrigh l (Received August 4, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY', August 3. The hosing season was opened last night in the Stadium at Rushcutters' Bay. 'The principal contest was that between the two coloured Sams, Langford and AlcVea. They went the full twenty rounds, and Langford won on points. It was a good fight, in which, tho winner held the advantage all through and earned the verdict with a substantial margin.

Langford has now beaten McVea twice, iost once, and made a draw once. The merits of the two men have been much disputed, but this should settle the question winch is tho better.
