The Johnsonville Golf Club continues to make rapid strides. The membership (which was limited) is now full up, and although most of the members are beginners their enthusiasm and interest. are fast bringing the course up to perfection. The club has. been very fn-tunate in securing the advice of Mr Watt, of Heretaunga, who has been out to Johnsonville and finally laid out the course. ’ A general meeting will be held at Johnsonville to-night to confirm the rules and arrange competitions.
