LONDON DOCK RIOTS
HALF THE STRIKERS REINSTATED. LONDON, August 1. Matters at the docks are quieter. Fifty per cent, of the strikers have been reinstated. All workers are being searched for revolvers. Several newspapers contrast Mr Reginald McKenna’s continued failure to adequately protect labor at the docks with Mr Birrell’s action at Belfast. BACK TO NORMAL.
