SHEEPSTEALERS BUSY
AA'HOLESALE DEPREDATIONS IN VICTORIA.
(Received Jqly 81, 9.25 p.m.) MELBOURNE, July 31. Graziers in the Broughton and Kaniva districts, near the South Australian border, have suffered heavy losses of sheep in tho past four years. It was supposed they had strayed. Macmillan Brothers’ last muster was 5000 short.
The police .made inquiries .and discovered in some thick bush a yard and woolshed bearing traces of shearing operations having been carried on for years past, were tracks indicating that a big muster had been driven away recently.
