A LITTLE STIR IN AUSTRALIAN
CIRCLES
(Received July 22, 9.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 22. A stir has been caused in football circles by the action of the Queensland Rugby Union in reinstating a number of League players who, becoming dissatisfied, had applied for re-enrolment in the amateur ranks. It is stated that the New South Wales Union was opposed to the reinstatement, but had no voice in the matter, as the Queensland Union is under a different constitution.
