RUSSIA AND JAPAN
MANCHURIAN AGREEMENT PROVIDES FOR DEFENCE.
(Received July 21, 6.5 p.m.) LONDON, July 20. “ The Times ” St. Petersburg correspondent reports that the RussoJapanese agreement, besides delimiting the respective spheres of influence in Mongolia and Manchuria provides for joint defence in case either is attacked in those spheres.
