AND THE FREEHOLD SYDNEY CONFERENCE DISCUSSSES PARTIES. By Telceraph—Press Association —Copyright Received July 19, 9.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 19. At the farmers’ conference there was a two days’ debate on the question whether they should support the Liberals or run a straight-out country party. The conference negatived the latter course, and .decided to leave the question of political action to the executive. Mr Ensor, of the New Zealand r armors’ Union, was welcomed to the conference. He said the farmers’ political association in New Zealand had secured a return to the freehold tenure, and he thought New South Wales farmers could do the same.
