Sydney and Auckland, arrived at Wellington at 10 a.m. yesterday, and berthed at No. 14, Jervois quay. She is to leave hero this afternoon for Lvttolton and Dunedin, and will afterwards load coal at Newcastle for the Philippines. The Arahura which arrived at Wellington at 10.40 a.m. yesterday from Greymouth via ports, left. Picton at 8.30 p.m. on Wednesday. but was compelled to anchor in the Sounds until 4 a.m. yesterday. A rough nassage was experienced from Tory Channel. 'The Muritai will not proceed to Wanganui roadstead, but is to leave Wellington tills morning for Napier, and will proably complete her Homeward loading at Gisborne and Auckland. The steady rain during the past few days has so hindered cargo working that tho Anglo Saxon will not be able to get away for Lyttelton and Dunedin . until next Monday at the earliest, with remainder of cargo of case oils. As the Warrimoo, from Sydney, will not arrive at Wellington until this evening, «ho is now fixed to leave Wellington tomorrow evening for Hobart and Melbourne via southern ports, but she will not call at Lyttelton. After being delayed nearly twenty-four hours off Capo Palliser by thick weather %he Tahiti reached port at 8 o'clock yesterday morning from San Francisco via ports. The vessel berthed at No. 1, south. Queen's wharf. She left San Francisco at 11 a.m. on June 26th, arrived at Papeete on July 7th, sailed again on the Bth, called at Rarotonga on the loth, loaded fruit cargo and sailed at 1 a.m. on the 11th for Wellington. Fin© - weather prevailed to Rarotonga, then strong variable winds and moderate seas were experienced till Wednesday morning, when the southerly gale was encountered. The New Zealand cargo includes a large quantity of bananas, oranges, hops, timber, oil, machinery, hardware, carriageware, boots, cotton goods, fruit (canned), and fish (canned).
