LONDON, July 10. At to-day’s wool sales prices were firm lor all sorts. American buyers were operating freely for medium and fine crossbreds. Fleece prices obtained on Tuesday included: "Ruapapa," top price 10Jd por lb. average 93d: "Opoiti," 12d and lid; "Titi," 12d and 113 d; “Cairn,” 15d and 13Jd. (Received July 11. 9.35 p.m.) LONDON. The following cabled advices were received by Wellington firms yesterday: Bank of New Zealand.—Current prices for North Island farmers’ lots, in average condition: Coarse crossbred* 36*40’s Quality* 9Jd to lOd per medium crossbred. 44-46’s quality, 10}d to lid; fine crossbred. 50’s quality, lid to 12d. Current prices for South Island farmers’ lots, in average condition: Inferior merino, common 60-64’s quality, 103 d to lid per lb: merino, super 60-64’s quality. 123 d to 133 d; half or quarter, bred, 56’s quality, 113 d to 123 d. Dalgety and Co.. Ltd.—Sales continue firm, and lately-reported rates are fully maintained. Strike position is improving.
