BRUTALLY ASSAULTED

" BEISBANE. July 11. Alfred Sylrestor, aged twenty-one, attempted to assault a girl aged seventeen on Saturday, near Biggenden. He struck her on the head with a bottle and. a pocket-knife. The girl stated she crawled for a quarter of a mile, and was found on Sunday morning in a critical condition. Sylvester was found in the yard of an hotel, suffering from lysol poisoning. Ho died on Monday.
