EFFECTS OF FEDERAL REORGANISATION SCHEME.

The regulations of the universal training scheme under which the first batch, of 10,000 senior cadets will bft drafted to the military forces on July Ist have been published. They also cover the reorganisation of existing infjmtry and light horse brigades. National regiments of English, Scottish, and Irish troops in the various. States disappear; their members being embodied in the forces of the_ newlycreated battalion areas. Provision is made for the immediate creation of four new batteries of field artillery.
