WANGANUI NOTES
(By “Eileen.”) May 1. Mr and Mrs Harold Brockman (Waitara) were in town for a couple of days last week. Mrs (Dr) 'Wilson is on a visit to her mother, Mrs Kennedy (Wellington). Miss Stevenson has gone to Nelson to be bridesmaid for 1 Miss Blundell. Mr, Mrs and Mies Koch are staying at Poster’s. Mr Koch succeeds Mr Strouts in the Bank of New South Wales. Mrs K. Cock (New Plymouth) is the guest of her sister, Mrs Curtis, “Kiverbank;” where Miss Littlewood (Auckland) is also; staying. Colonel and Mrs Collins (Wellington) are on a visit to Mr and Mrs Keg. Collins, Durie Hill. Mrs and the Misses Nolan arrived here yesterday. Mr and Mrs Strouts have left for Dunedin, where Mr Strouts has been transferred to the Bank of New South Wales. Mr Strouts was presented with
a suit case by the Tennis Club, of which he was the secretary. . ~ Mr and Airs James Purnell (Auckland; arc tho guests of AH- and Mrs James Graham, Wicksteed street. Airs (Dr) Inncs returned to town, yesterday. . Mr and Airs Horace Piper (nee Mies Tottie Moult), AVellington,. who have been, spending a few clays ui town, iett for Wellington to-day.
