SPECIAL TO THE “TIMES.” MAETON, May 3. A matter of considerable interest to Hunterville is the announcement of the cutting up of Crown lands for closer settlement in the vicinity of the township. A commencement will be made shortly on the subdivision of the scenic reserve at Eewa, which will be cut up into three or lour sections. In addition an area of about IGOO acres of the Otairi station has been acquired from Mr T. Duncan, and will be offered under the ballot systeta. There will also come on the market shortly a privately owned estate of over 1000 acres, which will be offered in convenient sections.
