OIL BARGE EXPLODES

RIVER BECOMES A SHEET OF FLAME. DOCKS BURNED. NEW YORK, May 2. At Cleveland, Ohio, an oil barge exploded, and a huge quantity of gasoline burst into flames and spread over the Cuyahoga river. The docks were destroyed completely, the firemen being unable to approach the conflagration. Five men were blown to pieces aboard the barge. A tug and other vessels were also burnt on Crescent Beach.
