SPORTS GROUNDS
ALLOCATION FOR THE WINTER. The city council has decided to close all recreation reserves for cricket after Easter. The following allocation of city reserves for winter sports for 1912 was agreed to:— SATURDAYS. Newtown Park—No. 1, Rugby Union; No. 2, Wellington Football Association. Anderson Park—No. 1, Rugby Union; No. 2, Wellington Football Association. Duppa street No. I—Nos. 1 and 2. Football Association; No. 3, Lacrosse Association. Dnppa street No. 2—Nos. 1 and 2. Wellington Hockey Association; No. 3, Laorosse Association. Eelbnme Park—No. l. Wellington Football Association; No. 2. Rugby Union. Kilbirnie Reserve—Wellington Football Association (subject to the ground not being required for improvement work). Naim street Reserve —Brooklyn Boys’ Football Club. WEDNESDAYS. Hookey—Duppa street. No. 2; Anderson Park (one ground); Kilbirnie (subject to thev ground not being required for improve ment work). Football Association Newtown, No. 2 ground: No. 1 Dnppa street (two grounds); (if necessary). No. 1 ground, Anderson Park; No. 1, Kelbume. Rugby—No. 1, on Newtown Park; No. 1, on Kelbume Park. St. Patrick’s College No. 1 ground, Duppa street (one ground).
