Time 2min 38sec. 440yds.—iDickman. 1; Harrower, 2; Read, 3. Time, smin 512-ssec. Ladies' World's Challenge.—Miss Tate 1; Miss J. Liddle 2. Time, 7min 24gec. In the ’ first round of the All-comcrs Championship (110yds). the result was:— Dickman 1; narrower 2; Read 3. Dickman. •with three firsts, thus wins the championship, with Harrowcr (two seconds and one third) second, and Read (one second, *two thirds), third. •
