Their Majesties’ state entry into Delhi was celebrated at Benares, the sacred city of the Hindus, their portraits being borne in a howdah, fob lowed by a procession a mile in length, including elephants, camels, infantry, cavalry, artillery, school children, and carriages filled with richer folk, to the Queen’s Park, amidst enormous enthusiastic throngs. A MEMORIAL TO KING-EDWARD. DELHI, December 8. The Kmg laid the foundation-stono of the all-India memorial to King Edward. It was an impressive ceremony.
