MANSLAUGHTER CHARGES FALL. PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, December 8. Tho fatal tram smash whack occurred on Mount Eden line on tho ©voninir of September 18th resulted in chargrcs of manslaughter being bronght against John Watson, the mo term an of one of the trams involved, and. John MoKellar, the driver, of the lorry which was tho first vehicle struck by the collidine tramcar. The charges were heard at the Supremo Court to-day. After evidence and counsel's addresses had been hoard, the jury found both accused not guilty.
