OUTCOME OF “ LA MILO ” CASE. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright LONDON, December 5. . Percy Holland Easton is suing William Edward Wood, jeweller, of Brook street, Hanover square, for damages for alleged malicious prosecution last year in connection with the case in which “La Milo” (a music-hall artist) and her husband (Ferdinand Eggena) were charged with defrauding Wood of jewellery valued at a considerable sum.’ "La Kilo” (Pansy Montague), Ferdinand Bggena.. and Percy Easton (of the Motor House Easton road) were charged m March 1910, with obtaining £BOOO worth, of -oweis from Mr Wood. The jewels, it was stated, were obtained on the security of '%j motor-cara stored at the Motor House, which wore represented to bo the absolute property of Eg®ona, but in respect of which only n. deposit' of £4OO had been paid. Easton denied all knowledge of a conspiracy, and was acquitted, as was also “ZjQ, Milo.” Eggena was sentenced to twenty-ono months’ imprisonment.
