THE WEATHER PROSPECTS
GENERAL FORECAST FOR TO-DAY. (By the Dominion Meteorologist.) Present indications (5 p.m. Friday) are for high and squally westerly winds generally, with a falling barometer everywhere, but a rapid rise will probably take place within forty hours, with the winds veering to southerly. Cloudy and unsettled weather is anticipated, and thunderstorms in parts and rain are probable generally. (Details on Shipping Page.)
