An infuriated female litigant at Seattle waylaid and horsewhipped Superior Judge Mair, of the Washington State Court, who was seriously injured. The sheriff overpowered tho woman and conveyed her to gaol. The loss of a lawsuit is believed to have been the cause of tho assault.
