The Petoue Wesleyan Tennis Club opened its season on Saturday afternoon. The -weather rather affected the attendance. However, the court was continually occupied, and some enjoyable games were played. The court has been top-dressed, but would be considerably improved if the dangerous declivities surrounding it were filled in. “ You never know your luck," except when you see Alartoll's Blue and Silver label in tie Bar. Then you're sure of it.
