A mooting has boon called by tho Mayoress, Mrs Wilford, for Thursday evening next. In tho Mayor's room, Town Hail, of all those interested in furthering the movement for, hospital Saturday and Sunday (October 7lh and Sth). Last year no collection was mado for the general hospital funds, owing to the Liberal response of the citizens to tho appeal for tho children's hospital. The combined bands of "Wellington, who havo rendered such valuable to tho hospital in past years, again promised their hearty co-operation on this occasion.
