The Spanish authorities have arrested Senhor Pineiro Chagas, editor of the paper “ Corrieo da Manha,” on a charge of conspiracy. He has been handed over to the Portuguese police. Senator Chagas was expelled from Portnjral last February, together -with. Senator Branco, a former Minister of Foreign Affairs, on a-ccoant of an alleged conspiracy, -with military officers, to restore the monarchy.
