A suggestion was made by the deputation from Now ZoaJand Automobile Associations which waited on the Prime Jlinister yesterday morning that h© should etio* mit any proposed legislation to the associations for consideration. 6ir Joseph Ward replied that he made it a practice never to**do what was suggested. Any legislative proposals he made went lirst to the representatives of the people, and if any outside bodies desired to make reorientations on the subject, they could do so through members of Parliament.
