MAGISTRATE’S COURT
William McLeod was fined ss, in default twenty-four hours* imprisonment, at th.o Magistrate's Court ywderday for drunkenness. Four first offenders were leniently dealt with. Alexander Jenkins, for using obscene language oa a race train running between Otakl and ■Wellington on Saturday, was-fined ,£t, ia default twenty-one days’ imprisonment. Mr W. G. Eiddell, S.M., was on tha bench.
