IRISH HOME RULE

ARTICLE BY MR REDMOND DISTRUST OF ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE. By Telegraph—Prers Association—Copyright. LONDON, September 22. Mr John Redmond, M.P., leader of ike Nationalist Parliamentary Party, in an article in “Reynold’s Newspaper,” declares that tho almost universal distrust of the administration of justice in Ireland is the greatest argument in favour of Home Rule. That distrust springs largely from the laws being foreign-made by a foreign Parliament. Many of the criminal laws are tyrannical and offensive, and would never bo tolerated in England. Under its own government Ireland would become tho most law-abiding country in the world.

SIR A. CONAN DOYLE A CONVERT. , LONDON, September 22. Sir A. Conan Doyle, tho well-known novelist, who has been greatly influenced by the success of self-government in South Africa, announces *his conversion to Irish Home Rule.
